Ceramic Coating
Our ceramic coating package is a full decontamination, a machine polish and Reign's 7-year ceramic coating by Performance PPL. It starts at £500 for a small car with a single stage enhancement included, and you can upgrade to a two or three stage correction first if your paint needs more work. Coatings are only applied at our unit in Sheffield.
Done at our unit only: Unit 12, Amalgam Park, Tinsley Park Road, Sheffield S9 5DL. We don't do paint correction or coatings on driveways. Our mobile services are deep cleans, valets and maintenance washes.
A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Coat swirled paint and you've protected the swirls for seven years. That's why every coating we apply goes on after a full decontamination and a machine polish, never straight after a wash.
Once the polishing is done, an IPA wipe-down takes off any polishing oils so the coating bonds to bare, clean clear coat.
Reign is a 10H nano ceramic coating developed in the UK by Performance PPL and rated for 7 years. Once cured it makes water bead and sheet off, helps stop dirt and grime sticking, and makes the car far quicker and safer to wash.
It's a layer of protection, not armour. It won't stop stone chips or scratches from careless washing, but it gives the clear coat a tougher, glossier surface that's much easier to keep clean.
Wash it by hand with a pH neutral shampoo and the two bucket method, and keep it away from automatic car washes. If you'd rather we did it, a maintenance valet every 4 to 6 weeks keeps the coating clean and performing.

The process
The order matters: every step makes the next one safer and more effective.
The engine bay gets a tidy and the wheels and arches are deep cleaned first, so nothing dirty gets flung onto clean paint later.
Door shuts are pre-washed and contact washed. They're where grime hides and they're the first thing you see when you open the car.
A pre-wash goes over the whole car to break down as much dirt and grime as possible before anything touches the paint.
A careful hand wash removes what the pre-wash loosened, without dragging grit across the clear coat.
Tar remover, then an iron fallout remover to dissolve the brake dust and metal particles bonded to the paint.
A water spot remover takes out mineral marks, followed by a neutralising product so the surface is clean and balanced.
Clay lifts the last bonded contaminants, so the paint is perfectly smooth before the polisher comes out.
A single stage enhancement is included. Upgrade to a two or three stage correction if the paint needs it.
Removes the polishing oils so the coating bonds to clean clear coat rather than to residue.
Applied panel by panel, then left to cure into a hard, glossy layer rated for 7 years.

Reign is rated for 7 years. How well it performs over that time depends on how the car is washed: safe hand washing keeps it beading for years, while automatic car washes and harsh chemicals wear it down faster.
Our ceramic coating package starts at £500 for a small car, £550 for a medium car, £600 for a large car or SUV and £700 for a 7-seater or van. That includes the full prep, a single stage machine polish and the Reign coating.
No. Ceramic coatings are only applied at our unit at Amalgam Park, Sheffield S9 5DL, so the paint stays clean and dry while the coating goes on and cures. Deep cleans, valets and maintenance washes are the jobs we do at your home or work.
If you want the car to stay glossy and be easier to clean, yes. It's especially worth it straight after paint correction or on a new car, because it protects a finish that's already right.
Our New Car Protection package coats the wheel faces as well as the paint, and a glass coating upgrade is available. Ask us if you'd like wheels or glass added to a ceramic coating package.
Yes, but it's much quicker and easier. Dirt doesn't bond to the coating the way it does to bare paint, so a safe hand wash brings it back to a deep gloss.
