Prices and booking
How much does car detailing cost in Sheffield?
Our prices start at £55 for a maintenance valet, £80 for an exterior valet, £100 for an interior valet and £180 for a deep clean on a small car. Paint enhancement starts at £300, two stage correction at £600, three stage correction at £900, New Car Protection at £450 and ceramic coating packages at £500. Are your prices fixed?
They're starting prices. We confirm the final price before we start, based on the size and condition of the car and any extras such as pet hair or sand.
Do you do mini valets?
No. Our lightest service is the maintenance valet, a thorough and safe wash for cars that are already in good condition.
Mobile and the unit
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?
It depends on the job. Deep cleans, valets and maintenance washes are mobile: we come to your home or workplace anywhere within 18 miles, or you can bring the car to the unit. Paint correction, ceramic coatings and New Car Protection are only done at our unit at Amalgam Park, Tinsley Park Road, Sheffield S9 5DL.
Can you do paint correction or a ceramic coating at my home?
No. Paint correction, ceramic coatings and New Car Protection are only done at our unit, where the car stays clean and dry under proper lighting. Our mobile services are deep cleans, valets and maintenance washes.
Do you need my water or electricity?
We bring our own water. We do need a standard plug socket within reach of an extension lead to power our equipment.
Can you clean my car while I'm at work?
Yes, as long as your workplace is happy for us to work in the car park. Tell us where the car will be and we'll take it from there.
What areas do you cover?
For mobile deep cleans, valets and maintenance washes: Sheffield and anywhere within 18 miles of our unit, including Barnsley, Rotherham, Stannington, Birdwell, Elsecar and the Hope Valley villages of Hathersage, Grindleford, Bamford, Hope and Castleton. For paint correction and ceramic coatings, you bring the car to our unit in Sheffield.
What are your opening hours?
Monday 8am to 6pm, Tuesday to Friday 8am to 6:30pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm. We're closed on Sundays.
Paint correction and coatings
What's the difference between single, two and three stage paint correction?
The number of polishing steps, and so how much damage comes out. A single stage enhancement (10 to 14 hours, from £300) removes up to 50% of defects and is mainly about gloss. Two stage (around 20 hours, from £600) cuts then refines for 65–75% removal. Three stage (around 30 hours, from £900) uses a rotary cut, a mid step and a refining step for 80–90% removal.
Which ceramic coating do you use?
Reign by Performance PPL, a UK-developed 10H nano ceramic coating rated for 7 years.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Reign is rated for 7 years. Safe hand washing keeps it performing for that long; automatic car washes and harsh chemicals wear it down faster.
Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?
Yes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so coating swirled paint just protects the swirls for years. Every coating we apply goes on after a full decontamination and a machine polish, and our ceramic coating package includes a single stage enhancement.
Will paint correction remove every scratch?
No, and anyone who promises 100% is guessing. We aim for up to 50%, 65–75% or 80–90% defect removal depending on the package. Scratches that go through the clear coat can be improved but not always removed, and we'll point those out before we start.
Looking after your car
What's the difference between a valet and a deep clean?
A valet covers one part of the job: an exterior valet does the outside, an interior valet the inside, and a maintenance valet is a safe wash for a car that's already in good condition. A deep clean is our full valet inside and out: engine bay, wheels and arches, door shuts, tar and iron decontamination, a ceramic sealant that lasts around 3 months and a fully cleaned and sanitised interior.
How often should I book a maintenance valet?
Every 4 to 6 weeks suits most cars. Cars that live outside or do a lot of motorway miles benefit from the shorter end.
How long will the job take?
An exterior valet takes 1 to 3 hours, a maintenance valet 2 to 3 hours, an interior valet 2 to 5 hours and a deep clean 5 to 12 hours. Paint work takes longer: 10 to 14 hours for a single stage enhancement or New Car Protection, around 20 hours for two stage and around 30 hours for three stage.
